Whether working from home or just a remote site, secure remote network access is important. One way to achieve this is through VPNs - Virtual Private Networks. VPNs can provide secure network connections through the use of authentication and encryption. VPNs and their implementation for remote access will be discussed at Unigroup's November 1998 meeting. Our speaker is Mike Devine from Metro Marketing, the regional representative for Compatible Systems who manufactures the IntraPort Family of Remote Access Servers.
